How to Wear the HoloLens 2 with a Hard Hat
If needed, you can attach a hardhat to the HoloLens to adhere to your company safety requirements.

There is also the option to use third party adjustments, like these Hard Hat Clips. These clips are specifically designed to attach a HoloLens 2 to a hard hat, and typically provide a secure and adjustable fit.
The important note is that it will not work with a ratchet-style Hardhat. It must be the pin band type. This is ratchet, the HoloLens won’t work with this:
